Water, cupcakes, and sand: Recipe for a really big mess...or a really fun birthday.

Meagan the whirlwind fish was amusing to watch as she fully immersed herself into less than 1 foot of water..continually...many innocent bystanders were victims of the wake she left behind.
Spencer was the male whirlwind fish who also claimed many victims in his splashing frenzy... Rocco was not so enthusiastic about the splashing...must have been to tired out from testing the pool out earlier in the day when the hot sun was beating down mercilessly...he just needed to eat some cake and then the sugar high would cheer him up...

and here enter..........the cupcakes. What a great idea this was (that I stole from someone else of course) ...perhaps all the moms of these children didnt think so but it was really so fun to watch...

neglected blog...

I have been neglecting this blog for one reason...Wii!! I now have no time to sit and post pictures or write anything because I am busy playing Wii...rediculous you say?....well, that is what I used to think...and now I am sore from flapping around with a gadget in my hand trying to win a game (not a match-mind you) of tennis against a video game....

so thanks Judi and Lennie for Wii....now you may NEVER hear from us again....

My little Rocco....is turning 4!

I cant believe my little boy is going to be 4...
time is slipping away too quickly...
and since I cant freeze time, I want to remember everything...

Top 10 Reasons I am glad he is the father of my children:

1. It makes chasing down two boys that much easier.

2. He has solid Christians morals..so I know we are on the same page when it comes to discipline (on most days)

3. He makes me feel like the best mommy in the world (even though I know that is far from true)

4. They (boys) sort of look like him (eyelashes and chin for sure) so there is hardly anyone questioning what the mailman looks like...

5. He is detailed oriented and a type A personality..of which I am NOT..so there is some balance...

6. He likes my cooking...regardless of the slop that I throw together and call dinner...and if that is not enough...he cleans up when its done!!

7. He takes the boys to run errands...so I can get a break

8. He builds some amazing train tracks for them too...

9. He makes the best on the stove popcorn..(thanks of course to his mom for the special training)

and last but not least...

10. He truely wants his boys to turn out to be God fearing young men...
